Serial number 110731 for 1980. In parade ground condition. Perfect for a serving British / Australian / Canadian / New Zealand naval officer, or a discerning collector that only buys the best. VGC (Very Good Condition), AAA. No officer’s name to the blade or folding guard.
The 31 inch blade is well etched aand in very good condition, some slight wear but nothing much, and firm in the hilt. The hilt / guard with much if not all gilt remaining is very good and the folding guard section works well and locates properly onto the top scabbard locket’s retaining pin as it should. The white fishskin grip has a few very small patches of grime (should clean right up), and the associated twisted grip also very good. Original sword knot very good. The all weather carry bag also very good; the end turned up from standing on its end. Internal chamois bag good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
