With iconic Maltese Cross style hilt / guard, regulation 1890 pattern, made by Enfield, dated 1898 (“’98”), never sharpened and in virtually as new condition; probably never out of stores (the 1890P was replaced by the 1899P).
The 34 1/4 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt / grip. The steel hilt / guard with minimal light age patina is very good. The grip looks as new, very good. The steel scabbard is very good, one ding / dent towards the drag. The sword sheathes and draws well.
Try and find a better condition one; bet you can’t! Bargain! was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference ZZ45. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1709-110x15x14
