Very attractive sword, dating to around 1870. No maker’s details or markings, as is the norm with these swords.
The plain unsharpened 32 inch blade is in fair condition and is mostly firm in the hilt / grip (very slight movement only). The superb brass hilt and grip are in good condition. The brass fittings on leather scabbard is good but the leather has split on one side. The sword sheathes and draws well.
Lovely example with scabbard at a lovely low was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference ZZ24. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1675-102x15x14 (1.433).
