Plenty of attractive aging but would clean up if desired. No maker markings. No inspection stamps as this was a private purchase.
This model of sword is highly reproduced. The aging on our 100% authentic sword not only looks good, but shows it is not one of the countless reproductions being sold as authentic.
The 30 inch blade in good condition and with a steady patina is form in the hilt and grip. The hilt with a pleasing tarnish is in good condition. The original blackened wood grip is good, some black patches worn away (easy enough to “fix” with shoe polish if desired). The leather and brass fittings scabbard with the same attractive age is good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
