Most likely an Allied bring back war trophy. Pipe back blade with quill point. Made by / marked to Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co Solingen. Nicks to cutting edge.
The 32 1/4 pipe back sharpened blade is in aged but good condition, some nicks to cutting edge, firm in the hilt / grip. Hilt / guard with age but good. The composite grip with age discoloration is nonetheless good. Scabbard with age, wear and a few dings is still sound. The sword sheathes and draws with a little resistance.
Good honest example and price; was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference ZZ17. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1668-104x15x14 (2.069).
