Exceptionally well carved ebony / ebonized hardwood hilt, almost certainly silver fittings and a hand forged traditional blade.
The 19 1/8 inch traditionally hand forged blade has black patina patches of light pitting but is still very good and firm in the hilt. The well carved wood with silver metal fittings hilt and grip is aged but good, a small section of the grip ferule is absent. The fabric and silver metal fittings scabbard is well aged but still good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
