In good condition, a Queen Elizabeth 2nd British Navy Officer’s Wilkinson Sword

We bought this sword (and others) from the MoD’s (Ministry of Defence’s) disposal agent. Unfortunately, they uneccessarily took it upon themselves to file off the serial number on the spine believing they needed to do that! However, this sword is warranted to be an authentic / genuine Wilkinson.
The 31 inch blade is in good condition but has wear and some patina, plus is firm in the hilt. The gilt brass hilt / guard is in good condition; the folding guard section works well. The fishskin grip is a little grubby and has a blackened patch, but otherwise is good, so too the twisted grip wire bindings. The brass fittings on black leather scabbard is good, soome light wear / scuffs; the locking pin on the top fitting is absent. The sword sheathes and draws well.
