Circa 1825. These swords were privately purchased, normally by the regiments, so very few have any markings; this is one such sword.
The 19 1/2 inch blade is in very good condition, some patina patches but not much / many, and firm in the hilt. The heavy brass lion’s head one piece hilt and grip are in good condition, some age, some wear (e.g. minor scuffing). The black leather and brass scabbard has wear and age, mostly to the leather, but is nonetheless good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
