It is a 1786 pattern as it has a solid shell guard, but was made after 1801 (after the highly derided 1796p folding guard variant) because it has a post 1801 British Royal Coat of Arms (a lion replaced the 3 fleur de lis in the top right section). The blade was made in Solingen as was the norm for fine blue and gilt blades and cutled (made into a sword) in England.
The 32 3/8 inch blade is worn and aged with an old / period nick but overall still good with some blue and gilt etch remaining. Blade quite firm in the hilt. The brass shell guard is good but aged and the quillon is absent. There is some surface loss to the remaining gilt. The twisted wire grip is good. The remains of the scabbard is aged. The sword sheathes and draws well.
