Either faux jade (e.g. Bakelight) or grade two jade; priced as faux jade (if it transpires to be real jade, the buyer wins). The blade decoration is incredible; fine inset brass rather than etched. A rare quality Balkans / Caucasian / Ottoman Empire Faux Jade Kindjal / Khanjali with original scabbard / sheath.

The brass inlaid 17 inch blade is in good condition but has plenty of small age related patina patches, firm in the hilt. The decorated hilt and faux jade grips sides are in aged but good condition, save for one side where the grip has cracked in two and been glued back in place. The fabric sheath is very aged / worn / faded and the tip has gone, but is otherwise sound and a welcome bonus. The dagger sheathes and draws well.
