Made primarily for the Bersih Desa (countryside cleansing) ceremony, an amulet offering normally buried to protect the countryside form evil spirits and guarantee good crops. This example escaped the fate of being burried and has a great pamor batu lapak (forging pattern). Keris Sajen mostly originate from Java, but also feature from the other islands (Bali, Sumatra, etc.). Traditionally forged with folded steel / iron.
A must for every farmer / gardener!



The 12 inch blade section is in very good condition, the very tip has taken an impact (is slightly bent). The keris is one piece. The hilt section is in good condition. There is no sheath (likely never was).
