The all plain steel hilt shows this to be a fighting tulwar. The sensatational Damascus steel blade speaks for itself; rarely will you find such a quality blade.
The 25 5/8 inch curved Damascus steel blade is in aged but very good condition, the point end has clearly found its mark (slightly bent), firm in the hilt. The plain steel guard, hilt and grip all aged but good. The hide scabbard, maybe a later replacement, is in aged but good condition. The sword sheathes and draws quite well, if a little tightly.
