Scarcer tulwar form with “stirrup” knuckle bow guard. A fighting sword with some period nicks to the cutting edge. Later replacement scabbard.

The 29 inch hand / traditionally forged curved blade is in aged but good condition, plus firm in the hilt. The steel hilt / guard and grip are in equally aged but good order, though there is a small gap in the grip’s seam line (a common occurrence). The later fabric and steel scabbard has aged a little but is still good. The sword is a little tight in scabbard but sheathes and draws well enough.
Nice example, great price; £475. Please quote item reference ZX76. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 2053 94 x 15 x 14 (1.451).
