Possibly wootz steel blade (see photos). Later replacement scabbard. This 19th Century Indo-Persian Tulwar Sword has an armorer’s mark / stamp to the blade.



The 27 3/4 inch curved blade is in aged but good condition, the point end with a possible corrected slight buckle, firm in the hilt. The steel hilt / guard is aged but good. The steel grip has a slight / small split one side along the forge line. Later scabbard aged but good. The sword sheathes and draws a little tightly.
