The 34 inch blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / guard has a steady light patina / tarnish and is good. The original leather grip has wear and a couple of very small patches of loss but is all in all good; twisted grip wire bindings are gone. The steel scabbard has some light pitting but is still solid / sound / good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
