Not actually a bird at all, but a long nosed demon! This 19C/20C Malay Patani Kajong Keris / Kris has a much older blade. The sheath in the Javanese style.
The old traditionally forged 11 1/2 inch blade is in rugged worn but good (sound) condition, the main lower and small upper blade sections firm (not loose). The well carved wooden hilt is in good condition. The wood and gilt metal sheath is in fair condition, some age, small dents / scrapes etc. The keris sheathes and draws well.
