The 31 7/8 inch well etched blade in in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The guard with Edwardian British crown (slightly loose) is good though aged, as is the entire hilt and grip generally; the knuckle bow is slightly dislodged from the pommel. The leather and brass fittings scabbard is aged with some dents, scrapes, etc but is good for its age. The sword sheathes and draws well.
