VGC = very good condition. Matching serial numbers (“Ji4611”). Scarce leather scabbard version.
The 11 9/16 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The wood and steel hilt is good, some wear and very light surface rust to the metal; the release mechanism a bit stiff. The leather and brass scabbard in good condition. The bayonet sheathes and draws well.
