This P1889 was made by Solingen leegends, Weyersberg Kirschbaum, circa 1900. A very attractive 1889m Brazilian pipe back bladed cavalry troopers sword with scabbard.
The plain 31 5/8 inch blade in very good condition, some scuffing and staining, firm in the hilt. The steel bowl guard haing a pleasing steady brown chemical patina is in good condition. The synthetic grip and twisted grip wire binding are good. Steel scabbard with steady chemical browning is in very good condition. The sword sheathes and draws well but is very tight when fully sheathed.
