In aged good condition, a Silver 19C Arabian Jambiya and Sheath with Arabic Script

Silver; the silver acid test on the pommel’s flange (the bit that tucks into the scabbard) produced a blood red colour result (90% + silver). Arabic script to the sheath’s cross bar section.
The steel 5 1/16 inch curved blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The silver sheet (over steel) hilt is in good condition, some small worn through patches and patina; the silver sheath equally so. The leather obverse of the sheath is good. The jambiya sheathes and draws well.
