You do not see many of these come onto the market! A circa 1660 Polish Hussar Cavalry Sword (Szabla). Slightly shortened / tip rounded (likely to make it safe). Hilt / guard with damage and a small section missing.
The 29 1/4 inch blade is very well aged (medium pitting and a steady patina), but sound and firm in the hilt. The brass hlt with some damage and a section connecting with the pommel is missing), is nonetheless quite good for its age. Scabbard long absent.
