Officer’s initials “ADJSC” and retailer’s details “H. Lehmann, Regency House, Aldershot” etched to blade. There are also some stamps to the blade which may indicate Moll to be the maker.
The 34 5/8 inch blade has age / wear but is sound and firm in the hilt. The bowl hilt is good but for plating loss / light inert rustto the edges mostly. Fishskin grip with wear but very good; so too the twisted grip wire bindings. Original leather sword knot and scabbard are both good but aged with some scuffing etc. The sword sheathes and draws well.
