Note the gold inlay decoration to the grip studs, this is a quality small kindjal from the Caucus region, circa 1850.
The 9 1/4 plain offset groove blade has some small surface patina patches but otherwise is in very good condition, plus firm in the hilt. The hilt is very good; the bone grip sections have some / a couple of tiny chips around the edges / some age but are nonetheless very good and tight. The original fabric sheath is aged / worn but quite good and sound. The kindjal sheaths and draws well.
