An awesome as much as it is a rare sword (and it is rare) with animal etching to the blade; surely a combat weapon or something to take down and kill a large animal! Google Sosun Pattah Zulfikar. This type of sword comes from Northern India and Persia, circa 1800.
The 31 1/8 inch beastly (in more ways than one) serated blade has age (rust patches and wear) but is good, plus is firm in the hilt. The steel hilt / guard / grip has some rust and age but is good and sound. No scabbard.
A very rare and scary / impressive antique Indo-Persian Sosun Patta / Zulfikar at a not so scary price, £625. Please quote item reference ZV52. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 2274 99 x 13 x 13 (1.62).
