The plain 22 5/8 inch blade has multiple light / medium inert rust patches / patina and firm in the hilt. The bras stirrup hilt / guard is in good condition as are the leather (small moth patches) and twisted grip wire bindings. The scabbard release button is present and working but the mechanism has lost its end, so does not lock the scabbard in place. The leather and brass fittings scabbard is aged and worn but good.
