19c (1800’s) Abyssinian Ethiopian Shotel with hardwood or horn grip.
The highly curved 31 3/8 inch blade is generally in good condition for its age, some small period nicks midway, firm in the hilt. The hardwood / horn grip / hilt has age and small pieces absent to the pommel area, otherwise good. The leather and metal fittings scabbard is very good for its age. The sword sheathes and draws a bit tightly, no doubt due to slight leather dryness shrinkage.
