Scarce Royal Corps of Transport officer’s Wilkinson Sword, serial number 9?4555 for 1968 and corps emblem / badge etched to blade.
The 33 3/4 inch blade is well etched and very little wear / small specs / spots of patina, firm in the hilt. The plated steel guard has some age and tiny specs but remains good. The faux black fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings very good. The leather field service knot is a little aged but sound. The leather scabbard and belts have some age but remain good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
