Circa 1780 / US Revolutionary War era British infantry officer’s sword.
The curved plain 30 inch blade is in aged condition (pitting and black patina) with a few old nicks to the cutting edge. Blade firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / guard in good condition. The fluted blackened / ebony wood grip is aged / worn but good. Scabbard absent.
