Bearing a Moscow 1896-1908 “84” Silver Hallmark (see example 16), this small dagger kindjal has niello adjectival wording “Kazak” to the scabbard.
The curved 5 inch / 13 cm blade is a little aged but good condition, plus is firm in the hilt. The steel reinforced niello silver work hilt is in good condition, as is the matching scabbard The kindjal sheathes and draws well.
