In very good condition, a scarce plain bladed WW1 British Cavalry Officer’s Wilkinson Sword

Serial number 45249 for late 1914 / early 1915, the beginning of World War One. Plain bladed, so either a campaign sword, one bought by a regiment for an NCO or one bought by an officer who was not British / Commonwealth (or maybe an Irish officer).
The regulation 35 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt and grip. The bowl guard / hilt in very good condition, as is the faux fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings. The leather sword knot with age / wear is sound. The field service leather scabbard has age and wear but is good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
