“Jaipur (former badge) Police No 63” to the guard. This sword will be of interest to pioneer sword collectors as it is an early pioneer type sword.
The 30 1/2 inch blade is in good condition, dated 21st June 47, and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt and grip good but with some polished out small corrosion holes. The leather scabbard in good condition. The sword sheathes and draws well.
