Indian Khanda / Kirachi style sword but from Sumatra (now part of Indonesia).
The 32 3/4 inch blade makes this sword much longer than other types of “Pedang”. Blade aged but good and firm in the hilt. The hilt with age and some dents but good. The hardwood pommel in good condition.
Just don’t come across many of these, to say the least. Probably way under-priced at (was) £500, now £400 . Please quote item reference Z24. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1550-golf (1.611).
