In overall good condition, a Pre WW1 Prussian / German Army Officer’s Sword

Plain bladed except for Kirschbaum knight’s head logo on blade at forte under a langet.
The 30 3/4 inch blade is in slightly surface light rusted condition but good and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / guard in good condition, as are the grip and twisted grip wire bindings. The original leather hilt thumb strap aged and incomplete. The black painted scabbard has lost paint and has some light rust but is good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
