Very feint 5 and what must be a British crown acceptance mark; no maker’s name visible. Crimean War era.
The 27 1/2 inch blade has a light rust pitting patch one side at the forte and is firm in the hilt. The hilt good with much original black naval paint remaining. The grip in good condition.
