Ivory grip, brass / gilt hilt and straight blade with central fuller and a tiny amount of gilt etching remaining. Circa 1800.



The 13 3/4 inch blade has a steady patina throughout and a tiny remnant of gilt etching to one fuller near the hilt. Blade firm in the hilt and grip. The ivory grip with multiple age hairline cracks and a glued repair, but is a nice aged yellow and complete.
Good, honest, typical, authentic Royal Navy dirk from around the time of the Battle of Trafalgar, just was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference Y27. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box n/a
