High quality Hawksworth of Sheffield made, a George V / WW1 era British 1892P officer’s sword.

The supremely well etched 32 3/4 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The brass / gilt “Gothic” style hilt / guard also very good. The fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings have some age / wear but still very good. The leather field service scabbard has some wear around the chape (to be expected) but is overall very good. The sword sheathes and draws very well.
Top notch sword in well above average condition. Bite our hand off at this price; was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference Y18. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1410-101x19x16 (1.855).
