Etched to quality maker Pillin of Gerrard Street London.
The well etched 32 3/8 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The plated hilt / 3 bar guard has lost some very small patches of plating (and gained some very light, now inert rust) but is good. The fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings have some age / wear, but are good. The leather field service scabbard equally has some wear / age but is good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
