Unlikely ever to be parade ground condition. You can tell this is an older ERII, just look at the Wilkinson logo! Made in 1955 (serial number 76406), three years after Queen Elizabeth the 2nd was crowned.
The 32 1/4 inch blade is in good condition (scabbard washer stopper / buffer missing) and firm in the hilt. The hilt has age craze; the plating has squiggles and tiny bubbles. Faux fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings in good condition. The leather scabbard has issues under the frog (the leather has separated along the frog ridge line), and we gave it some leather balsam as it was dry, so it a little tacky. The sword sheathes and draws well enough.
