Caveat: No serial number, so people will say this could not have been made by Wilkinson Sword. This has a “2” just outside the hilt, so maybe a serial number is hidden inside the hilt. Anyway, this is a quality acid and grey etched sword so it is very hard to imagine another maker was involved.
The 34 inch etched blade with ERII royal cypher and badge of the Royal Corps of Transport is in overall very good condition and firm in the hilt. The three bar plated hilt with some tarnish / rust spots but generally good. The faux fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings are good. The plated steel scabbard has small rust spots throughout most of the length but is nonetheless good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
