In good condition for its age, a super rare circa 1650 Scottish Ribbon Hilt Broadsword with Farara Blade

This is an authentic, untouched / unmodified mid 17C Scottish Ribbon Hilt Broadsword. The blade, marked to Farara (one of the spellings used of a legendary blade maker, to convey the blade is of quality) clearly has seen the test of time and it looks like a battle at some stage.
A very similar sword (we consider ours slightly better) sold at Bonhams London Auctions on the 25th May 2022 for was £? (too late, now sold),837.50 – the price for ours is further below (hint, not as much).
The 33 5/8 inch blade has pitting and some very old roughness / small nicks to the forward cutting edge but is straight, in very sound condition and firm in the grip. The iron hilt has some damage / loss, but really not that much and is sound (actually, well above average); hilt does move around grip / blade a bit. The wooden grip appears to be the original base grip, as it has some age.
Look, we have seen ribbon hilts with highly questionable blades sell for what we are offering this clearly original piece for. You just can’t buy them for love nor money, except on very rare occasions; this is one very rare such occasion. At a specialist premium auction, you would have to pay a LOT more. The likely pride of any self-respecting Scottish sword collection for was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item ref X11. Further / full sized images available upon request.
