One of the last swords ever made by Wilkinson Sword; serial number 132370 for 2005 (the year this famous company stopped trading). Etched on the blade to ERII and “Margaret J. McC. Robertson”, most likely a diplomatic officials sword as the hilt is in gilt and has the Australian Coat of Arms rather than the ERII cypher.
The 32 1/4 inch dark grey (flash makes it look light grey) blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The gilt hilt has some scuffing (gilt does suffer so up close) but is good in reality. The white faux fishskin grip is in very good condition. Sword knot very good. Plated steel scabbard very good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
