The superb grey etched 35″ blade is in very good condition, just a few patina patches, not many. Blade firm in the hilt. The hilt has suffered a little from time, some plating gone, but generally good. The grip is good except for the forward section which has lost some fishskin and had mastic applied; believed period. The field service scabbard is generally good but with wear. The sword sheathes and draws well.
