Actually a once very nice tulwar / talwar with the remnants of a finely etched / koftgari hilt, and a fine sharp blade, but with some fairly deep though now inert rust patches.
The 28 1/2″ blade is sound but has a few larger inert rust patches. Blade firm in hilt which has remnants of once fine bronze appearance koftgari work. The sheath is aged but sound. The sword sheathes and draws well but the back edge exits the sheath towards the tip end.
Actually, a very nice sword for the price, was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference U20. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 0877-101x18x17 (1.801).
