A heavy (1.315Kg) and large (51cm total length) high quality silver jambiya in good condition (see silver test photo below; the dark red from an acid test shows the silver content of the rear sheath section is above 92%). Arabic inscription to reverse of fan section of hilt. The 8 inch / 20 cm blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. There is some light blue / green tarnish (possibly an old application of silver polish) which would benefit from professional cleaning. Ge3nuinely under priced at was £? (too late, now sold).
