In fair condition, a 19th Century Ottoman Yataghan / Yatagan & Scabbard.

With horn / bone hilt, scrolling silver colour metalwork and the remains of etching to the blade.



The 21 1/4 inch blade has age, some patina / pitting top the point area (very tip slight damage) Blade firm in hilt. The ferrule area between blade and hilt is loose. Horn / bone grip itself aged worn. Repairs to section between grip. Scabbard with age, wear and damaged areas (the brass end has split along seam and has some old glue repairs). The yataghan sheathes and draws stiffly towards being fully sheathed.
