A very unique and therefore rare sword. Not only does it have a Sosun Patta style bulbous point end, but the cutting edge is on the inside of the curved blade! Perhaps used by a mounted soldier in some way. It may even be an executioner’s sword. Very different!

The 29 3/4 inch “upside down” bulbous point end blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt shows signs of age and wear but is in good shape. The scabbard may not be 19th Century but is made for the sword; the sword sheathes and draws well.
Very, very unusual sword which we have never seen the like of before. Therefore, we suspect we have well and truly under-priced this at was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference M79. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1279-1m (2.001)
