Circa 1880 – likely a British soldier’s war trophy from the Second Anglo-Afghan War.
The 30 3/8 inch blade is in aged / worn and battle scarred condition with several old nicks to the cutting edge. Blade firm in hilt. The steel hilt / guard and grip are in good condition but with age / wear also. Scabbard absent.
