Guaranteed authentic with remains of King George IV’s royal cypher with crown above. A Battle of Trafalgar era British 1804 Pattern Royal Navy Cutlass with age (pitting to blade).
The 28 3/4 inch blade is aged with light to medium pitting patches; firm in the hilt. The iconic Figure of Eight hilt / guard has age but is good. The “pineapple” ribbed grip is aged and worn but good. Scabbard absent.
Possibly there when Lord Horatio Nelson defeated the French and Spanish at the Battle of Trafalgar. In any event, an evocative authentic era cutlass to say the least and well worth the was £?
