The 32 5/8 inch well etched quality blade is in very good condition and firm in the cross hilt. The plated steel hilt with HLI specific pommel cap is very good, as is the fishskin grip and its associated twisted gripwire bindings. The plated steel scabbard has traces of repair / creasing but is otherwise good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
