A rare Arapusta Tulwar fighting sword, “Arapusta” courtesy of its serrate back blade edge.
The serrated back edge 32 1/8 inch curved heavy steel blade is in good condition but with some patina patches is firm in the hilt; the very tiny section of tip has old damage, possibly through use. The leather over wood scabbard is old, aged and in poor condition, but is sound and nice to have. The sword sheathes and draws well.
Great sword, truly, at a great price; was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AH88. Further / full sized images available upon request. Tube 1881 101 x 16 (2.47).
